Amarna Sky reveals the logo & artwork for the debut album "Rising Heresy", both created by Mattias Norén, with my concept´s contribuition.

The last guest musician

English version

The Neckbreaker´s vocalist Marcos "Jabah" was the last musician to be invited to appear on the debut Amarna Sky album "Rising Heresy", which the releasing date was changed to the first fortnight of December. "Jabah", that also is an old friend of mine, already worked with me in the past in a band called Deep Sorrow. In this first Amarna Sky work he sung on the song "Divine Glory" (the second part of "Cleopatra VII"). Here are two pics of his sessions at the HP Records Studio.

O vocalista do Neckbreaker, Marcos "Jabah", foi o último músico a ser convidado para participar no álbum de estréia do Amarna Sky, "Rising Heresy", cuja data de lançamento foi adiada para a primeira quinzena de Dezembro. "Jabah", que também é um antigo amigo meu, já trabalhou comigo no passado numa banda chamada Deep Sorrow. Neste primeiro trabalho do Amarna Sky ele cantou na música "Divine Glory" (a segunda parte de "Cleopatra VII"). Aqui estão duas fotos das suas sessões no Estúdio HP Records.

Another Special Guest

Karl Sanders (photo), guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, leader and mastermind of the American Death Metal Legend Nile, is the second special guest to appear on the Amarna Sky album, with releasing date to October/November of this year. Karl will play on the song "Beyond The Horizon (Legacy Of Light)".

Nefertiti´s Pillars

English version

It´s the name of the instrumental track that began to be record yesterday at the HP Records studio and that will be the second part of "Amarna Rising". This way, the title track "Rising Heresy" dislocated off to the third part of the "history", which was mixed on last week, including the Erol Unala´s guitar leads, first special guest to appear on the Amarna Sky recordings.

"Nefertiti´s Pillars" was born from a lot tribal groove that came to my mind, while I was sat down at my kit, take care the drums tuning, especially the tons. Aldo added to it some hypnotic riffs of oriental scale and the result was very interesting... On next week we should finish it...

Esse é o nome da faixa instrumental que começou a ser gravada ontem no estúdio HP Records e que será a segunda parte da conceitual "Amarna Rising". Dessa forma, a faixa título "Rising Heresy" se deslocou para a terceira parte da "história", cuja mixagem foi finalizada na semana passada, incluindo os solos de Erol Unala, primeiro convidado especial a participar do Amarna Sky.

"Nefertiti´s Pillars" nasceu de um groove meio tribal que me veio à cabeça, enquanto estava sentado na bateria, afinando os tambores, especialmente os tons. Aldo adicionou a ele alguns riffs hipnóticos de escala oriental e o resultado ficou bastante interessante... Na semana que vem devemos finalizá-la...
